1.       The Operations Lead in the Distribution Center particular focus is the effectiveness and accuracy of the flow of inventory into the store. This position works closely with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Processors, Buyers, and Store Managers to identify, understand and solve a variety of inbound freight issues. The Distribution Center Lead takes an active role in all aspects of the distribution operation (UPS, Freight, Returns, Receiving).   The Lead is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of warehouse personnel. The Lead may also be required to perform any of their duties in addition to his or her own duties.


  •      Resolving freight discrepancies within a reasonable time frame.
  •      Leads and trains 5-10 employees.
  •      Ensure proper labeling, tagging and packaging of goods and materials.
  •      Making sure receiving, processing and distribution policies are followed.
  •      Maintain accurate inventory and accounting records.
  •      Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact quantity and type of product is loaded and shipped to the correct location.
  •      Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
  •      Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety.
  •      Keeps warehouse clean and orderly.
  •      Receives and reconciles deliveries checking for shortages and damage.
  •      3-5 years of warehouse experience with management or an inventory skills preferred.
  •      College degree preferred.
  •      Ability to communicate effectively and work in a dynamic business environment.
  •      Ability to work independently and interact with other departments (including senior management).
  •      Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  •      Energetic and disciplined individual who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  •      Professional interpersonal skills, work ethic and character and highly committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
